National Liberation Movement commemorative plaque
The commemorative plaque was set up in September 1952. The plaque is built into the outer side of the wall surrounding the L’nčki Homestead. The very house where the local and district political officials of Karst gathered no longer exists because it was torn down, but a new house was built in the same location and still stands.
You can reach it by turning right at house number 28, continue past the stone portal of the house number 30 and you will see the plaque after a few steps on your left. The people living at the “L’nčki” Homested were very active during World War II. A number of members of this family were forced to spend a few years in the Dachau or Auschwitz concentration camps or in prison. |
