Cavern from World War One
The cavern was built during World War One and served as a shelter.
It was the easternmost cavern in the Isonzo Front. According to some information, the terrain in the vicinity was also used as a quarry that produced stone for constructing the foundations and walls for shacks and railway remains. Individual parts of the quarry were masked with construction wood and used as shelter for tools, machinery and devices.
