The Rosmann Villa
The villa is located on the left side of the main road in the direction of Nova Gorica, about 200 metres from the crossroads for Komen. The locals call it the Hočkovi Villa (“Pri Hočkovih”).
It was built around 1915. On 16 August 1916, Archduchess Marie Valeria moved to the villa and organized a court lunch in honour of the Emperor’s birthday on the same day. For this purpose, a large tent was set up across the road, including a kitchen and machines for electric and acetylene lighting.
